Next Steps

There are many great decisions you can make in life, but you are about to make the most important one! Choosing to follow Jesus not perfectly, but faithfully is life’s greatest call. The Bible says in Romans 10:9-10 that, “If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved.”

We like to say that baptism is the “outward expression of an inward change.” The Bible clearly teaches that baptism is the first step of obedience after making a commitment to Christ. Baptism allows a believer to communicate to the world their heart-felt commitment to Christ.

We believe that real life change and growth happens through authentic relationships. You can’t do life with everyone, but we can create a world where everyone has someone to do life with.

Align is class for anyone looking to get connected at Oaks Church! If you’re ready to get involved with us or serve in any capacity (Oaks Kids, Outreach, Small Groups, etc.), Align will teach you about our church, family, culture, and core values. This one time class takes place on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month at 9:30AM!
